Tonight's Food Network episode of “Rewrapped” gave three chefs a chance to recreate Wise Cheez Waffies, a decadent snack food, that lovers of delicacies have enjoyed for years. As Joey Fatone hosts the show, he introduces the chefs on this episode titled, “Milano, Milano! I Love You!” What is your favorite flavor of these delicious cookies?

The chefs competing tonight are; Chris Clime, executive chef at Passion Fish in Reston, Va., Saira Malhotra, founder of passportpantry.com and Laura Fuentes, founder of momables.com.

The judges are; head judge and snack food King Marc Summers, Kevin Foltz, senior manager at Wise and cookbook author and television chef, Kelsey Nixon.

For the first round, the chefs had to recreate those delicious waffle sandwiches with cheddar cheese inside. They all got to work quickly and each had a different concept of the waffle and the cheeses. Saira scored 22, Chris scored 19 and Laura scored 21.

This innovate challenge was based on taste, appearance and creativity using the Waffies. Saira made Waffie Crab Cakes with spiced slaw which she did very well. Chris made Waffie Wachos, his formulation of nachos with fresh lobster was enjoyed by the judges, who liked the snack concept. Laura made a Waffie Cristo, her idea of a Monte Cristo sandwich with turkey and ham and a raspberry jam that looked delicious and was really liked by the judges. The scores were; Laura 25, Chris 26 and Saira 24 leaving a tie between Laura and Saira.

After the judges conferred, they declared Laura the winner. She won a year’s supply of Wise Cheese Waffies and the title of Rewrapped Champion on this episode of “Rewrapped.”
