Reward to help find horribly abused puppy Valentine's abusers

Apple Valley, CA:  On the 11th, the story of little Valentine, a 10-month-old Pit Bull puppy who dragged her brutalized body to a cement plant seeking help was published here.  You can read that story here or at the link provided below.  Valentine's story has garnered the attention of advocates from everywhere.  Now a $2000 reward is being offered by The Animal Rescue Team of Santa Ynez, CA for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the monsters who hurt this innocent puppy so horribly.

The news from the Bear Valley Animal Hospital about Valentine is encouraging.  She has had emergency procedures needed to stabilize her and to amputate the front paw that was being held on by just a piece of skin.  She is resting and will have more surgery tomorrow.  Her appetite is reported to be good, and she is said to be doing well.  She is being given all of the intensive medical care she needs as well as love and affection for probably the first time in her life.

The outpouring of support for this baby has been amazing.  Everyone wants to see her heal and even more, they want to see the monsters who could so heartlessly hurt her this way found and brought to justice.  Once the perpetrators have been found and charged, a petition will be drawn up seeking maximum penalties against the perpetrators, which will be shared with you in a followup story.  For now, a petition simply is not possible, since it is unknown who committed this horrible act of cruelty.

If you have any information whatsoever about who might have done this to Valentine, please contact the Apple Valley division of the San Bernardino Sheriff's Department at the following contact information:

Little Valentine has shown only love and affection towards her caregivers.  This innocent baby literally dragged herself with her dangling and broken paws to find help.  It's impossible to imagine the kind of terror and pain this helpless baby endured in her short lifetime.  She is fighting to pull through this and one day will be healed and ready for a loving forever home.

Valentine deserves justice, and advocates are working hard to get that for her as well as the money needed to help heal her little body and soul.

Keep up the fight to heal sweet little Valentine.  Feel the love being sent to you from around the world from people who have never met you, but who are sending their healing thoughts and wishes to you, as well as limitless love.   Please know that your life matters to us, precious Valentine and for the rest of your life you will know only compassion, love and kindness from humans.
