UPDATED JANUARY 25, 1:30AM-Baby Girl was spotted earlier behind Papa John's Pizza in Williamston.

The search is on for the dog belonging to a woman killed in an early morning wreck, Fox Carolina reported January 24.

The victim, Tracy Elbertson, was killed in a one car wreck just after 2 a.m. in Anderson County when her 2004 Chevy Tahor ran off Beaverdam Road and overturned.

Tracy wasn't wearing her seat belt, and was thrown from the vehicle. She was pronounced dead of her injuries at Greenville Memorial Hospital.

Unfortunately, her little dog, a Maltese, ran away from the accident scene. Baby Girl was spotted earlier near Saluda Valley Golf Course.

The family is offering a reward for Baby Girl's safe return. If found, Fox Carolina has asked for their news station to be the point of contact, and will notify the family.

Meanwhile, the family of the deceased has put out mementos with familiar scents, just in case Baby Girl finds her way home.
