On Feb. 16, the New England Revolution defeated the New York Red Bulls 3-1 to win their first game at the MLS preseason Desert Diamond Cup tournament at Kino Veterans Memorial Stadium in Tucson, Ariz.
The Revolution now stand at 1-1-0 in that tournament and will reach the Championship match with a win over Real Salt Lake on Wed., Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. ET. In the first Cup game on Feb. 13, the Seattle Sounders shut out the Revolution 2-0 with goals from Brad Evans and Eddie Johnson, assisted by Mauro Rosales.
