The first bracelet to monitor sun exposure goes on display at the Las Vegas Consumer Electronics Show tomorrow, January 7. The creation of Netatmo, JUNE advises women how to protect their skin on a daily basis from the effects of the sun. by tracking UV intensity in real-time and the total sun exposure absorbed by the user's skin throughout the day.
Depending on skin type, the app calculates the suggested maximum daily exposure. This sounds like quite a breakthrough in technology that could be beneficial in preventing serious effects from over exposure to the sun such as Cancer and other skin problems. The bracelet, which was created by French jewelry designer Camille Toupet, comes in gold, platinum and gunmetal and can be worn the wrist or as a brooch.
JUNE by Netatmo is being presented exclusively at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) which is being held at the Convention Center LVCC, in South Hall 2, Stand 26 700 (just in case you’ll be there).
JUNE will be available for sale for $99 in the second quarter of 2014 in select fashion, beauty and consumer electronics stores.
