Revolucion Mexican Steakhouse, a Chicago steakhouse at the forefront of evolving Mexican cuisine, announces its new brunch menu. The upscale, family-owned restaurant features innovative recipes from the culinary minds of the Chicago-based Estrada family. The venue is also known for its innovative mixology, carefully curated Mexican and South American wines, and craft beers.
Brunch menu items include traditional offerings such as Chilaquiles and Huevos Rancheros, in addition to the Huarache de Barbacoa, a handmade, boat shaped corn masa tortilla filled with scrambled eggs, shredded beef, salsa pasilla, black beans, and queso fresco. The Lakeview restaurant also serves Heuvos Benedictos with serrano corn cakes and chipotle hollandaise.
Items on the sweeter side include the Blueberry Margarita Pancakes—a triple stack of pancakes served with blueberry margarita compote, dulche de leche cream, topped with a brown sugar and oat crust.
"Revolucion's handcrafted cocktails strive to match the quality of the food we provide," said owner Tony Estrada. "We are excited to serve the Lakeview community for brunch and look forward to opening the patio soon."
Cocktails are concocted using all fresh ingredients, including homemade purees and garnishes. Some drinks, such as the Abuelita Float, incorporate the boldly crafted flavors of Sorbetsmith—this float is comprised of Negra Modelo and dark chocolate sorbet with an Abuelita Chocolate rim. Additionally, fresh Bloody Mary's and Mimosas are offered during brunch hours for $3.
