I am learning about so many fabulous brands these days! One of the latest products to cross my desk is Finishing Touch by Revision Skincare.
I for one had never heard of Revision Skincare but at my first impression this company looked to be high-end professional strength products. They are a skincare company backed by science allowing their products to be of the utmost quality. This is shown as Revision Skincare is only available through dermatologists, plastic surgeons and medical spas.
According to their website "For over 25 years, Revision Skincare has provided physicians with clinically proven, high-performing skincare products. Using only the purest, most efficacious ingredients, the Revision Skincare collection was formulated to provide targeted solutions for enhancing skin’s appearance and reducing signs of aging."
This past week I was treated to trying their Finishing Touch product which is an at-home microdermabrasion scrub is perfect to use once a week to get rid of the old skin and hydrate and moisturize the new.
... and it gets better!
This serious facial exfoliation is not just cheap sugar scrub. It is so much more:
- Exfoliates skin with Polynesian Volcanic Black Sand and ultra-fine Pumice
- Contains Freshwater Silt that hydrates, nourishes and helps absorb impurities
- Rejuvenates and brightens dull skin
- Leaves a moist, clean feel after rinse-off unlike most scrubs
This treatment removes dead, dehydrated surface cells from the skin for an immediate soft, smooth appearance. This is perfect for all types of skin -- whether oily, dry, normal or combination.
Testing:
I have the worst winter skin (ugh!) and yet for some silly reason I still live in Boston. I peel more in the winter than I do in the summer. I have dry skin -- and it takes a conscious effort for me to drink enough water each day. Hence the winter weather can easily do a number on my skin causing me to dry our and peel all over. hot right?
So scrubs (and forced amounts of water ingestion) are my savior during the winter. I've tried them all -- and I normally need to use them at least twice a week. After using it a few times it has that pumace, earthy scent -- as if you are putting rock on your face. But it is much more fine than that -- and even though it is volcanic rock you are using -- it doesn't feel overly harsh. It does however get rid of all my dry skin!
What more could a girl want!
