Wendy’s has reeled in their deliciously famous premium fish fillet sandwich to its restaurants again. When it comes to fast food, people prefer the traditional burger and fries combo. Wendy’s cod fillet sandwich however, is well worth the risk of changing up your next order. Wendy’s invited me to try out their premium codfish fillet sandwich to share my review.
Priced at around $3.99 (locations vary), this 100% north pacific cod breaded sandwich is served in a toasty bun with lettuce and tartar sauce. A slice of American cheese is optional, and I highly recommend it.
While the cod fillet wasn’t packed with flavor, it was cooked just right, or at least better than any other fast food place I have tried a similar sandwich at. Most of the flavor was on the fresh tartar sauce and lettuce, which is why I regret not adding the slice of cheese for that missing taste. I also recommend getting the combo, to enjoy the sandwich with Wendy’s popular fries and a refreshing drink.
If you want to switch things up from the regular burger and try something simple, give Wendy’s premium cod fish fillet sandwich a try at your nearest location.
