When going on a Carnival cruise, you have a lot of choices of excursions. One thing we chose to do was a tranopy adventure that was in Montego Bay, Jamaica. You can also check this place out if you are visiting the area. It is called Mystic Mountain. I have to say this was one of the best things I have ever done in my life!
My one complaint was that you have to take a really long bus ride to get there, but it was an interesting experience. We got to see the land, sites, and how people live in this area. Our tour guide was amazing as well.
We paid $165.99/per person through Carnival for the experience. It was a bobsled, dinner, ski lift ride, and a zipline tour. You could not ask for more fun! When you first arrive, you ride the ski lift to the top of the mountain where the fun begins. It is called the Rainforest Sky Explorer.
When you arrive at the top, there are several little shops and also people singing and dancing. There is also a pool with a slide.
The first thing that we checked out was the bobsled. You get on it and ride by yourself. It is on a track and you are able to control the speed with handles on your own bobsled. This was exciting and took you right through parts of the jungle.
Next we had the lunch that they provided. It was jerk chicken, rice, drinks, and more. One thing that was great about it was it was included in the price so we didn't have to spend extra money to eat.
The last thing we did was the best of the day. We went zipling through the jungle. You have two people along with you that show you what to do and how to do it. There are some huge ziplines, but at one point you even make kind of a free fall. I was terrified, screamed, but had a blast! I can't wait to do this again.
The day ends with a ride on the ski lift back down the mountain and a trip on the bus back to your cruise ship. It was a great way to end the day.
If you are looking for a great Carnival excursion, I recommend the tranopy adventure for sure. You will love this one. I can't wait to go back!
