Review: Mika Fowler's Dry Haircut

See also

To say my strands were in need of a little TLC was an understatement. My blonde tresses looked like drab pieces of straw after a bit of over styling and an apartment that seriously lacks moisture. Enter, Mika Fowler with her amazing dry cut. She took my tresses from drab to fab in just a few snips. Let's just say I am officially hooked!

Mika isn't just talented, she's insanely sweet. She makes her clients feel right at home when they walk into the Kim Vo Salon (Mika's home base) at the Montage Hotel in Beverly Hills.

Mika’s dry cut technique was first developed in Japan at Vidal Sassoon. The highly competitive and perfectionist based style scene in Japan is the environment where Mika first established herself. Following her successes in Japan, Mika came to Beverly Hills where she continues to rock the tresses of A-listers and normal folk alike. Using the dry cut technique, Mika is able to take the hair’s natural chemistry, flow and bounce into account to perfectly shape each style- it's no wonder that celeb clients, including Olivia Munn, Alison Brie and Emma Roberts book her months in advance.

Mika's dry cut involves washing, drying then straightening the hair before cutting it. Mika really takes her time and pays strict attention to detail when cutting your hair. I couldn't believe how fresh my hair looked after she got a hold of it. I wish I had a before and after picture but the before would be too much to handle. Using a dry cut allows Mika achieve maximum results and create a very precise cut.

If you're looking for the perfect cut and style to amp up your Summer then book an appointment at the Kim Vo Salon with Mika ASAP and say hello to perfectly cut hair.
