Our family just got back from a trip to Kansas City and one thing we did while we were there was made a visit to the Kansas City Sea Life Aquarium. You can check out their website to learn more. This facility is located next door to the Legoland Discovery Center so you can visit both of them in the same day. Everything is inside so it is great for a cold day.

This aquarium is great for children of all ages. As you start out, they give you a card where you answer questions through the aquarium and the kids even get a prize at the end for doing it. It was educational and my girls loved it. I honestly think it was their favorite part. You could find the answers reading different things on the wall and they were reading everything and learning so much.

Inside the aquarium of course they have a ton of different sea life to look at, but one thing that was really neat was they had areas that kids could look up inside and feel like they were right in the water with the animals. There was also a tunnel to walk through that was full of glass that my kids really enjoyed. They even have an area where you can put your hands in the water with the animals. There is also a gift shop at the end with affordable prices for the kids.

If you go to the Kansas City Sea Life Aquarium, make sure you give yourself 2-3 hours to go through the entire thing. If you are also going to visit Legoland Discovery Center you can get a discount on tickets by buying them together. This aquarium was a lot of fun for the kids and adults both. I would recommend this if you are headed to Kansas City, Missouri anytime soon.
