Review
"They are sweeping the city and taking out the trash". This is the films "Tagline".
"THEY" are brooms and mops. A few non broom/mop actors are also featured.
Paying homage to a few big time "Indie" actors with character names such as "Tony Danza, Christopher Mopin and Dennis Moper makes this film just that much better.
Laughing out loud is not something I do too often during a film. I gasp, snort, or just shake my head. This film however has a lot of laughs. It's got a "Saturday Night Live" feel about it, except the language and sexual situations (Broom on human, human on Broom), would never be allowed even on SNL.
This short runs for 30 minutes which is enough time to get the storyline, and give the characters (brooms, mops, humans,) some depth.
The "blue" language is constant, the sexual situations are graphic, if you are a broom, otherwise they are just funny.
The film is set in Las Vegas where I live. To tell you the truth, if I was driving and saw a talking broom, I wouldn't give it a second glance.
This is a great effort by Lance Mora, his cast and crew. I enjoyed it. Grab a couple of beers, some snacks and enjoy.
