Review: Always. . . Patsy Cline at B&B

There is a twang in the house at Beef & Boards in Indianapolis. Always . . . Patsy Cline debuted with a solid performance with Christine Mild as Patsy Cline and Erin Parker as Louise Seger. With Seger telling the story of how she became a fan of Ms. Cline and then getting the opportunity to meet and become friends with her, there are lots of laughs and even more great tunes.
This show will be appreciated even by those who are not fans of country music or Patsy Cline. Even though Cline passed away decades ago, her music is still very familiar, even if only because of all those country music compilations hawked on late night TV. Christine Mild was in fine voice and delivered many beautiful renditions of Cline's songs. Erin Parker was fun as the narrator/lead, telling the story of how she met Cline one night by chance at a performance. The band, the Bodacious Bobcats Band, impressively backed-up and even helped with some of the laughs.
