Halloween is not traditionally know for being the holiday that gives back. Maybe it should be. A scrappy San Francisco non-profit is declaring A Good Idea is taking care of those around us in the city.
Wednesday October 28th from 6:45pm until 9:00pm, volunteers from all over the Bay area will be handing out candy and toothbrushes to the homeless members of our community. Anyone and everyone is welcome to attend.
A Good Idea is a non-profit that hosts a monthly Call to Arms event where a big group of people come together to reach out to the homeless.
Come in costume (optional but way more fun) and bring some halloween candy and toothbrushes (dollar store is a great resource) and engage with members of the community so often excluded from holiday fun.
Meet up at The Good Hotel at 112 7th St at 6:45pm to get everything ready, and hit the streets with an amazing group of people making a positive impact on the world.
If you go, post a comment and tell me what your experience was like. I'd love to hear from you!
