ABC fans are excited that “Revenge” has returned for Season 3. There are plenty of questions fans have about what went on and how things happened. The season premiere was set six months from when fans last saw Emily tell Jack she was Amanda Clarke, not Emily Thorne. According to an article posted September 29 by Entertainment Weekly, fans should expect the unexpected. The biggest puzzle this season seems to be concerning who shot Emily. There are several options, but thinking outside of the box is the way to go about figuring out “Revenge” secrets.
Several fans are leaning toward Jack. While that makes sense because Emily hurt him, Jack just doesn’t have it in him to kill someone he once loved. The season premiere showed Jack telling Emily he doesn’t love her like he thought he did after they shared a kiss. This was heartbreaking to fans that want to see this pair together, but there may be some hope down the line.
Charlotte came back home from Paris and was not the same girl that left. When Season 2 ended, Charlotte was pregnant with Declan’s baby and he had just died because of a bomb her father planted. From what was inferred during the season premiere, Charlotte lost the baby and then took off. It is being thought that perhaps Charlotte finds out that Emily is Amanda, and is angry because she didn’t help her when she needed it. The way Charlotte threatened Patrick was unlike the girl fans knew before.
Of course Daniel is an option. He has been gun-happy before, and Emily appeared to have been in her wedding dress. Fans think Daniel may have found out about her plan of revenge and destroying his family. With the instability Daniel has shown throughout the duration of the show, anything is possible from him.
It looks like the answer will come at the end of the season, or at the very least, quite far into it. Right now fans aren’t sure on who shot Emily, but there are several possibilities. “Revenge” airs on ABC Sunday nights at 8 p.m. CST.
