The mid-season finale of "Revenge" was intense and fans were left wondering what happened to Emily. Since she is the star of the show, viewers could probably guess that she wouldn't die and they were right. So what will happen next? On Jan. 3, Buddy TV revealed some spoilers for the mid-season premiere, titled "Homecoming."

Warning: If you do not want to know "Revenge" season 3 spoilers, then stop reading.

Emily's shooting will be on the news, which isn't a surprise. The attempted murder of a woman at her well-publicized wedding isn't going to be able to be kept for very long. But the last viewers saw was Emily's bloody wedding dress washing ashore. So where was she? It turns out that she swam to a buoy and the police found her. She was of course taken to the hospital and a photo shows a nurse, Niko, putting something in Emily's IV.

Nolan is sure that Emily's life is in danger and Victoria reminds Daniel that Emily set him up and calls her a "monster."

Emily wakes up with Daniel by her side and demands to know what happened and seems to be suffering from amnesia, but it is unclear if she truly doesn't remember who she is or if it is part of a new plan.

The episode after the mid-season premiere is titled "Endurance" and ABC has released photos along with captions that read,

"Physically and mentally broken, Emily finds herself more lost than ever while her enemies circle closer. But one game changing revelation will ignite a new path of destruction."

So Emily's amnesia will last more than one episode, but it will be interesting to find out what the "game changing revelation" will be.

"Revenge" will return on Jan. 5.
