'Revenge' spoilers for rest of the season and the finale

So how will the writers at “Revenge” top the shock value and draw of the last episode where fans saw a favorite character, Amanda, die? Well according to Gabriel Mann who plays Nolan on the show and a Feb. 21 report on TV Line, there are still plenty of surprises in store. Stop reading now if you don’t want to know because there are spoilers ahead.

According to Mann, the show’s manager Mike Kelley is keeping the storylines for the finale under wraps for now. What Mann could say about the finale is that unlike last year’s finale cliffhanger which was oriented around Emily, this season the finale will focus on Nolan.

What about before the finale? What can we expect in the wake of Amanda’s death? The loss of Amanda will take its toll on several characters, not the least of which are Emily and Jack. Nolan’s grief in this matter is more akin to empathy for what she went through and compassion for his friend Emily.

Gabriel hints that fans are about to see “a new, smarter, meaner, revenge-y Jack Porter.” He reasons that while Jack still doesn’t have the whole picture, he knows too much to just turn his back.

The finale according to Mann comes about after a very Emily-and-Nolan rest of the season. Nolan finds himself very involved with The Initiative and Padma and we can only guess where that will take him.

“Revenge” returns on Sunday March 10 with a new episode.
