Another new character is heading to The Hamptons, and Emily Thorne is about to have another man in her life. TVLine.com reported exclusively on Monday, Jan. 28 that Collins Pennie has been cast in the hit ABC drama "Revenge" as Emily's foster brother. Pennie will have a recurring role in the show and first appear in an episode in the spring. The new character will help fill in the gaps between what happened after Emily entered foster care and when she was released from prison.
Pennie most recently appeared on the short-lived television medical drama "Hawthorne" which aired on TNT. His other acting credits include the horror thriller Prom Night, the science fiction drama In Time, Stomp the Yard 2: Homecoming, "NCIS: Los Angeles", and "CSI: Miami."
Originally from Brooklyn, Pennie spent several years growing up in foster care before being cast in small roles on "Law & Order" and "Without a Trace." Pennie went on to model for Calvin Klein. The actor is also a dancer and has appeared in a music video for Beyonce.
Pennie will likely have scenes with Emily VanCamp (Emily Thorne) in the present and in flashbacks to give more backstory to both characters. He joins newcomers Barry Sloane (Aiden Mathis), Dilshad Vadsaria (Padma Lahari) and Wendy Crewson (Helen Crowley) for the show's second season. "Revenge"will return on Sunday, Feb. 10 at 10 p.m. on ABC.
