Revenge” wrapped last season with a doozy of a cliffhanger – David Clarke is alive. We know because we watched him murder Conrad Grayson in cold blood. We’re not saying old Connie didn’t deserve it but it was a shocker. Now we’re hearing, according to Christian Today on July 24, that David might be Season 4’s villain!

Clarke was believed to be dead, murdered in prison while serving his sentence for his role in the bombing of Flight 197. His appearance is sure to set off tidal waves of shock when Emily and Victoria find out, not to mention his other daughter, Charlotte.

So just who is David Clarke today? Apparently a very different man than the one he has been portrayed to be. Showrunner Sunil Nayar recently said, told People magazine, "David Clarke is alive, but he is not at all the man that Emily or Victoria thinks they knew."

This puts things in an entirely different light. Did he fake his own death and then lay low for all these years? If so, what is his end game and how will it affect his daughters? If his death was staged by someone else, who was it and where has he been all these years? And shy has he chosen this moment to resurface. “Revenge” writer Aaron Harberts has said that Clarke’s reappearance is going to stir up a lot of trouble for people who knew him.

A few photos of the premiere episode were recently shared on Enstars. In them Emily can be seen in a summer dress and Nolan in an outlandish suit. Daniel and Margaux are seen having a conversation on the street next to an Aston Martin sports car. There are no real spoilers among the photos but they are a nice diversion until the premiere gets here.

Season 4, the final season of the “Revenge” will premiere Sunday, Sept. 28 on ABC. Check back for more updates and spoilers.
