The fourth season of "Revenge" is going to be an interesting one. With the return of David Clarke and the changes that viewers will see in Emily Thorne, it will be a much different show than before. Episode titles can sometimes give clues on what to expect. On Saturday, Carter Matt revealed that the title for "Revenge" season 4, episode 6 has been revealed.
As a refresher, the titles for the first five episodes were previously released. The season premiere is titled "Renaissance" and will air on Sept. 28. The definition of the word renaissance is rebirth, reawakening and growth. These are terms that can be used to describe a lot of the characters on the show, especially David Clarke and Emily Thorne.
The second episode is called "Disclosure." Set to air on Oct. 5, it is speculated that this episode will provide some answers. Maybe fans will find out where David has been and why he has returned. Although viewers would like answers quickly, showrunner Sunil Nayar recently said that it will be a "slow burn."
"Revenge" season 4, episode 3 is titled "Ashes." Due to air on Oct. 12, it could refer to something or someone being completely destroyed. It also might mean something completely different, like digging up the past.
The fourth episode of the upcoming season will air on Oct. 19 and is titled "Meteor." This almost sounds like something huge will occur. A meteor is a strong force of the universe and when it crashes into Earth, it creates some damage. Fans are betting that something big is going to happen on this episode based on the title.
"Repercussions" is the title of the fifth episode, scheduled to air on Oct. 26. It has been revealed that Emily is going to have to deal with the things she has done in the name of revenge. Perhaps this particular episode will have someone paying a very high price.
Now for the latest episode title. "Revenge" season 4, episode 6 is named "Damage." The title doesn't reveal much, but Carter Matt stated that Emily will be in a good place in season 4. The website also wrote that "Damage" might mean that she will find herself in some trouble in the sixth episode.
What do you think of the titles of the first six episodes of "Revenge?" Do you have any theories on what they could possibly mean? What do you get from the title of episode 6, "Damage?"
