For three seasons, Emily was getting revenge for her father. However, David Clarke it turns out is alive and well. With him not being dead at all, Victoria in a psych ward and Conrad jailed, then him being attacked, does Emily finally have what she wants? The answer to that is no. On the season finale of "Revenge," Aiden was murdered by Victoria Grayson. Will this fuel a new reason for revenge? According to a May 27 report by Enstars, it just might.

Showrunner Sunil Nayar explained that Emily needed revenge in a different way. He said that revenge for the death of a father is not the same as revenge for the love of Emily's life. Especially since his life was ended by one woman who she hates more than anyone. Nayar described it as a "mature" kind of anger and because it is different, her plans for payback will be very different in "Revenge" season 4. He also said that Aiden had to die in order to fuel Emily's need for revenge.

It was previously reported that Emily will not be narrating season 4. Instead, the voice will be that of Victoria's. She has lost a lot and holds Emily responsible. Even though Victoria is in a psych ward, fans can bet that she will be planning to destroy Emily whether she is hospitalized or not. When news broke that Victoria would be narrating, it was thought that the storyline would be all about getting revenge on Emily. However, Nayar's recent statement reveals that Emily will still have plans for revenge, just in a different way and for a different reason.

It was also revealed that when the show returns, Victoria will be in a very dark place. But how will fans see Emily Thorne when the drama returns to the air? How will this tragedy change her?

What do you think is going to happen on season 4 of "Revenge?" How will Emily's plans change now that David Clarke is alive, but Aiden is dead?
