Fans are eager for the return of "Revenge" Sunday and season 3 spoilers for the show reveal that with the mid-season premiere comes a new time slot. The show will now air at 10 p.m. instead of 9 p.m. While that makes us wait just one more hour at night to watch the show, producers tell us it will be well worth it!
EOnline reported March 6 that ABC boss, Paul Lee, is excited about the time slot. He said that "Revenge" later at night means they "can take the handcuffs off" and "make a 10 o'clock show."
Showrunner Sunil Nayar backed that statement off by add it "will give us the opportunity to show you the darker colors of all the people...we can get into the more salaciously, revenge-y interpersonal stuff now."
There tends to be a huge difference between the kind of show a viewer gets at 9 p.m. vs. 10 p.m. The scenes more graphic, sexual content is heightened, and more daring material is explicit. Of course, "Revenge" is a good enough show without adding all of this. Not that anyone is complaining!
"Revenge" season 3, episode 14, "Payback," airs Sunday, March 9 at 10 p.m., ET/PT.
