Strangely enough, Conrad learns that he isn’t suffering from Huntington’s disease in this episode. This could have been something that the writers dragged on for half of the season, but instead, four episodes is enough apparently. It’s hard to decide what to make of this. Now Conrad will become more proactive doing, well something. Maybe the writers were getting bored of him being weak. Personally, I loved it because it allows Conrad to have actual family moments where he gives Daniel advice, like he does in this episode. It shows off a different side of Conrad. What will be interesting to see is what he is given to do now. He can’t simply resume the governorship, can he?
Jack begins to worm his way back into Emily’s scheming. Their scenes are always interesting to watch because it’s a new dynamic for them. Jack now knows who Emily is, and yet he doesn’t really know her at all. This is intriguing to watch unfold. Plus, Jack is someone new to the revengenda team, even though Emily would claim he isn’t a part of the team. Anyways, it’s a new person for her to talk about this stuff with, and he clearly has a different viewpoint than Nolan and Aiden. Speaking of Aiden, he finds out just how involved and knowledgeable Jack is in this episode, and he continues to prove how he isn’t completely on Team Emily. He is on his own team, where his goal is to keep Emily to himself. The Jack vs. Aiden fight could be something interesting to watch or it could be more scenes of Aiden being annoying. Only time will tell. What are your Aiden thoughts?
Here are some thoughts on the couples during the episode. Emily and Daniel have a fight! It seems like the viewers haven’t really seen them bicker before. This definitely adds a layer to their relationship. It makes them interesting. Normally their scenes aren’t that entertaining to watch, and so this fight spices things up a little. Nolan goes to great lengths to learn about Patrick. He even uses a computer! Gasp! The question is: why? Is it because there is a revengenda attached or is it simply because Nolan has a crush? Right now the two of them are confusing. It’s hard to decide what to think or feel about them. Are we supposed to look at them as a real couple or love interest? Personally, I don’t. It’s too suspicious. What are your thoughts?
