'Revenge': Actor Barry Sloane leaving show

Last November Josh Bowman said that he was trying to pitch Daniel's death to "Revenge" producers. While that outcome is still unknown, TVLine reported on Feb. 20 that another actor on the show is leaving, but this one came as a surprise. It has been confirmed that Barry Sloane, who plays Aiden on the hit series, is leaving Emily and the other characters to go on another show.

Sloane will be moving from "Revenge" to a new show titled "The Visitors." The new show, which will air on ABC and the show description reads,

"'The Visitors' chronicles a race against the clock to defeat an unseen alien enemy out to destroy the world using our most precious resource against us."

Barry will be playing the role of Wes, an ex-FBI agent who now works with the Special Projects Division of the Defense department. The role of the program is to investigate military threats without the public's knowledge. In the show, he has a wife named Lena and a 9-year-old son named Minx, but his career tends to come before his family. He is assigned to check out a discovery in the Algerian desert, but will find himself entwined in the most explosive event in history.

So what will happen to the character of Aiden on "Revenge?" An ABC insider wasn't able to give any definitive answers, but only said that his role in a possible season 4 was still being determined.

A recent spoiler did state that there is going to be a major character death on "Revenge" season 3. It was being speculated that it was going to be Daniel because of what Josh Bowman told TV Guide about his "death pitch" to producers, but now it is possible that Aiden could be the one to die.

What do you think will happen with Aiden in "Revenge" now that Barry Sloane has a new show to work on? Will they kill him off or will they send him away just in case he decides to return?
