Summary: Emily refocuses her commitment to vengeance in the wake of the tragedy on Jack’s boat and the town mourns a loss.
Emily’s V/O talks about retribution.
Emily busts into her house and Nolan tries to calm her. Emily pulls out a gun and loads it. Nolan tells her that they have to wait for the call before they can go to the hospital. Aiden comes in and she tells him that Amanda is dead. In her room, she remembers her conversation with Amanda and when she gave her the necklace. Emily cries.
Conrad is trying to get a hold of Nate, but no answer. Victoria is worried about the computer from Amanda. Charlotte comes in and says that Jack’s been shot and that Amanda’s missing. Daniel asks if this is part of the plan. Conrad gets a call from Trask. Amanda’s body has been found but no computer.
Nolan and Aiden catch up. Emily comes down and says that Charlotte just called. Emily asks Aiden to find out what happened to Helen before her and Nolan leave.
Nolan/Emily arrive at the hospital and learn that Victoria just ‘happened’ to show up at the bar the same night that Jack gets a shot. Emily knows it’s not a coincidence and knows that they are behind everything.
Conrad/Victoria meet with Trask. He asks about Helen and they say that Amanda killed her. Conrad tells Trask that Nate went onto the boat looking for the computer for financial reward. Victoria brings up Daniel but he says he won’t stop with Daniel. Conrad brings up the fact that Jack is the only one that can challenge their story.
Daniel gets a call from Trask. He encourages him to make the trades that he promised with Helen. Aiden comes in. He asks for a spot on the board. He tells him that he talked Prosser to not overbid him.
Emily goes to the apartment at the bar. She looks through Amanda’s stuff and Trask is there. He shows Emily an FBI badge. He asks Emily about Amanda’s disappearance. He tells her that they found another victim.
Ashley asks if Conrad killed Amanda. He says he didn’t know it would go this far. He tells her that she needs to be careful because the whole deal with Nate was her idea.
Padma meets up with Nolan. She plays Nolan a voicemail remaindering her of deadline. She asks him to save her father. Nolan tells her to get back to Nolcorp and he will check in on Helen’s number.
Nolan calls Emily. He tells her that the Graysons are the ones that killed Helen. Emily figures out that they were trying to frame Amanda so that the initiative would frame Amanda and not them.
Emily goes to the morgue where Victoria is waiting for Charlotte, who went to identify the body. Charlotte comes out crying.
Nolan walks in with Daniel in his office. He asks him what he wants. Daniel asks about his missing program. He says if he found out that Nolan destroyed it, he would destroy him.
Victoria checks in on Charlotte who is looking at Carl. Charlotte talks to Victoria about Amanda’s body and her service and how no one will come to her funeral. Victoria gets a text from Daniel asking her to meet him in city. Chralotte starts looking up information on Amanda Clarke on the web.
Emily calls Nolan, trying to figure out where the computer is. And they catch up. Aiden comes in. Emily tells him that they found Amanda’s body. She says that she is using Amanda’s death to get close to Charlotte again. Emily gets a call from Declan. Jack is coming to.
Jack wakes up to Emily and Declan. He asks about Amanda and Carl. They tell him that Amanda died and h starts crying. Conrad comes in and apologizes for Amanda’s death. Jack says he wants to talk to him alone. When alone, he says he knows why he is here. Conrad paid for the hospital bills. Conrad says he didn’t realize Nate was using him to get to Jack. Nolan comes in and Jack says he wants to finish what Amanda started. He brings up the police and Emily and Nolan tell him to wait until they can make arrangments.
Daniel and Victoria meet about the crash of Flight 197. He says everything that they have is blood money. Daniel brings up Aiden and Trask meeting with him since Helen’s death. Victoria says to have Aiden do it to prove he’s not part of the Initiative.
Emily is helping get Jack set up at home. She says she didn’t find the computer. He asks her to do the Eulogy for Amanda. He says that he feels that he didn’t really know her. Emily tries to assure him that Emily did love him. Jack looks at her picture and jar of blue rocks and starts to cry. He smashes the jar and finds a key in it.
Emily goes to check in on Charlotte. She sees that Charlotte is looking her up on the web. After Emily leaves, she receives a message from some named E James saying they know about Amanda.
Daniel tells Aiden to make the trades for him. He spots Emily as she’s leaving. He apologizes for everything. He says he’s going to the funeral.
Jack opens the locker for the key to find a bag. As he’s leaving Conrad is giving a press conference. He opens up the bag and finds CDs, recorders, and the computer. He tries to figure out the password. Emily and Nolan watch as Jack stands next to Conrad.
Emily goes to check on Jack and sees the computer on the bed. She helps him tie his tie. He asks to Emily about her time in Juevy with Amanda. He asks about her lies. He asks if she knew that Amanda was going after the Graysons and that she’s to blame for Amanda’s death.
Padma walks in on Nolan finishing Carrion. He says that they really do have her father. As he gives her the program, he warns her to be careful because they don’t always keep their word.
Emily is giving her eulogy at the funeral. Daniel tells Victoria that Aiden made the trades and that they can trust him. Aiden lock picks into a office. Emily places a lily on the coffin. Jack walks past her as she goes to grab Carl and he gives Carl to Charlotte. He asks Conrad to find a way to honor Amanda. Emily tells Nolan that she wants to tell him the truth. Jack asks Nolan to go back to the bar with him. Conrad gets a call and says that ‘the boy knows nothing.’ Victoria goes to talk to Emily. She says that no one should know what it’s like to lose a child.
Jack gets back to his apartment to see it ransacked.
Aiden brings Emily the computer. She tosses into the water. She says she’s protecting Jack by throwing it away. She says the computer was never part of the plan, it just clouded her judgment.
Daniel tells his secretary to take the clock and to keep it because it’s running slow and then to keep it because he’s got his own watch.
Emily is looking down at Amanda’s tombstone when a man’s voice talks to her. He says that he’s her brother and that she had burned his house down.
Things we learned/new questions
-How deep does this Trask character go? Is he higher up on the ladder of the Intitiative or is he just the same as Helen? What will he do when he figures out that the Graysons killed Helen?
-No doubt that Emily will figure out a way to get proof that the Graysons killed Helen and use that against the Graysons.
-Now that Amanda’s foster brother is back in town, no doubt it will create problems with Emily.
-Will Jack ever forgive Emily for what she did? How far will things go before Emily tells Jack the complete truth?
-Will Padma go through with the trade with Carrion? What will happen if they do get the program?
