V/O power. Emily fighting with someone in the shadows, turns out to be Aiden. They are training and they end up kissing.
The woman from the Initiative meets with Daniel. She says her conglomerate is picky about who they invest with. She encourages him to indulge in more of Conrad’s secrets.
Jack talks to Amanda and gives her a necklace of sea glass that she can wear to the weeding. Nate comes in. He tells Jack to clean the bar. Declan over hears the conversation.
Conrad ignores a call and Victoria thinks he should be more worried. He says that Daniel’s shortcomings will force the Initiative to move past him. Victoria says that Patricia Barnes and her husband, a judge, coming to visit. She says that her charity about wrongly accused people getting money, this would be a good thing for Conrad to put his face on. She says that Emily will be able to talk Daniel.
Aiden reads a letter about Judge Barnes (he was the judge during David’s trial). She says there was a juror who thought David was innocent but was killed and replaced with a corrupt juror. She thinks that she can get him to admit what he did.
Emily meets with Victoria. Victoria says that Daniel is still in love with her and that she wants Emily to convince Daniel to give up CEO and return back to what he used to do. Emily agrees. When leaving, she sees Barnes and his wife show up.
Daniel leaves for lunch and Aiden comes in and tricks his secretary to tell him where he’s eating lunch. He then calls Emily about the location. Conrad shows up at the restaurant and says that he won’t help Daniel with anything. Then they over hear Emily and Aiden breaking up.
Declan asks Charlotte to distract the Ryan brothers so that he can look in their cart in the back. He discovers that there is drugs inside. When going to check on Declan, Nate discovers that he’s been snooping.
Daniel meets with Nolan and he asks Nolan to hack into Grayson Global files so he can find out if his father
hid other accounts. He also tells Nolan that Emily and Aiden broke up.
Nolan goes to see Emily and is happy about the break-up until he learns it was a fake. He then tells her that he was asked to hack into Grayson files, which is good because they can find out about the Initiative. After she leaves, Aiden asks Nolan to tell him about the Initiative before telling Emily.
Declan talks to Jack about the drugs. Jack agrees to bring down the Ryan brothers.
Emily goes to dinner at the Grayson’s house. She brings up Palmer (person who wrote the letter) and it gets Judge Barnes tense. Patricia makes a comment that upsets him and he starts squeezing her hand rather hard, which Emily sees.
Marco comes in and catches Nolan trying to hack into Graysons’s files. Before leaving, he tells Nolan he wants him back and that he’s willing to wait. He gives him a flash drive with a program that Nolan shut down before Marco left the company.
Cops bust into the bar for a drug raid. They don’t find anything in the bar. They search the boat and they find drugs and a gun. They go to arrest Declan but Jack says it’s his and he gets arrested.
Jack asks Amanda to go to Emily’s house so she will be safe. He tells her about the Ryan brothers and the drugs and she understands.
Nolan tells Aiden about what he found. Aiden watches a video of the woman from the Initiative and calls her. She wants to meet with him.
Emily talks with Amanda about the letter and about the research that she is doing about Patricia. She knows that she is being assaulted by Judge Barnes and will use that against him.
Aiden meets with the woman. He learns that his sister is still alive but refuses to tell her what she wants to know. She says that they wil meet again and create a deal with what she wants.
It’s the charity event. Emily apologizes to Daniel before going to meet with Patricia. She brings her the letter and learns that Patricia was the one that wrote it. She convinces her to tell everyone that her husband beats her.
Jack calls Amanda and tells her about being arrested.
When Patricia gives her speech, she brings up the letter and how she wrote it, not Palmer. She says that there was information that could have given David Clarke a mistrial but was never brought up because of her husband. For her grand finale, she shows her bruises.
Daniel pops in at Emily’s house. He has a proposition for her. He wants her help to put the funds towards the charities. She notices that Victoria is watching, so she grabs Daniel’s hand and agrees to help. He kisses her in thanks and Aiden oversees it.
