"Revenge" is currently airing on Channel 15 in Tempe. On Wednesday, Feb. 20, Screen Spy shared the first photos released for "Revenge" episode 2.15 titled "Retribution." Amanda Clarke died on the last episode of this series, and the next episode will feature her funeral. That event is teased in the new episode photos. This death will renew Emily's hate for the Grayson family, and she will focus on her efforts on Charlotte. The new photos also tease a confrontation between Daniel and his mother.
Gabriel Mann had more to share about the next episode as well. Helen Hunt directed the episode, and he spoke about the episode and the work she did with it with Entertainment Weekly. He said the following:
"She was very invested in the characters, and sort of had really strong smart ideas about [how] at a certain point, when you keep upping the stakes and upping the stakes, there has to be a payoff. I feel like she really got us back to our roots, saying, ‘As human beings, what happens to [the characters] when these things are occurring all around you?’ She anchored it in incredible, dramatic reality — still within the confines of the Revenge world, clearly — but really brought a real sensitivity and poignancy to the things these character have to deal with in the next few episodes."
There is more drama to come as those around Emily and Emily herself deal with the aftermath of Amanda's death and the sinking of Jack's boat. Emily allowed herself to show true emotion when Amanda died, and that is not something seen often on this series.
