Yes, he is guaranteed his freedom of speech and he has a right to burn Korans, also spelled Qurans, if he wishes, as long as he doesn’t violate any local air pollution laws. He has a right to put up Burma Shave type signs saying “Islam is of the devil.” Rev. Jones explains his views in the accompanying video.

We do not do this my burning their idols or their religious books. We do not do it by attacking them.
We do go out and talk to them, introduce them to the Bible, God and Jesus. We baptize them in the name of the Father, the Son Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Jesus told us to do it.

It's the same god, you just call it by different names. The real battle is over whose holy book is more sacred... or whose holy book speaks for the real god.

I have followed this from the beginning. As I read the worlds news papers all I see is hate for America, death to America. I saw the same thing PRIOR to Terry Jones announcing his intentions. The muslim world is filled with hate, no tolerance and have exhibited many examples of disrespect of American Christians and all others that don't subscribe to their beliefs. Our own politicians who are at fault for the internal demise of this country are attempting to demoralize Mr. Jones. Muslims have burned the Bible and our nations flag many many times and there is no such up roar. This is pure contradiction. It is Mr. Jone's right to burn the koran. Don't buy into the B.S. that our military will be put at risk, they already are. We have to stop catering to this mechanism called islam. If the muslims are upset so what, it is time to stop the fear of retaliation. Remember 9-11
