Reuse, recycle and eat healthy in Bakersfield this weekend

This weekend in Bakersfield is a great time to practice the Sustainable Living mantra "Reuse, Reduce, and Recycle". You can "Reuse" and strut your stylish self by buying great quality designer items at the Bakersfield Discovery Shop. You can "Reduce" dependency on imported foods by buying locally produced fruits and vegetables, milk and meats at the Farmers Markets - which gives you an added bonus of "Reducing" waste (transport and packaging) and waistlines (healthier eating). And you can "Recycle" your electronic devices to "Reduce" toxic components in our local landfills! Whether you choose to do one or all of these great events this weekend, get out there and enjoy the warm Bakersfield weather and have fun!
