As a long time fan of Kim Harrison's 'Hollows' series I was beyond excited to finally get to read 'Ever After'. I've followed the story of Rachel Morgan, Ivy, Jenks, Trent, and my favorite demon Al, for several years now.
Set in an urban fantasy Cincinnati the 'Hollows' series deals with witches, demons, elves, vampires and pixies along with just about any other creature you can imagine. There aren't many fantasy books that offer such well rounded characters from all these different areas.
The only problem with 'Ever After' for me is that is made me want to read more...right away. I'm suffering from great book hangover and can't really get into another book at the moment because I'm still wondering what's next for the "itchy witch" and her buddies.
If you're looking for a series that will keep you interested 'The Hollows" is the way to go! The series begins with 'Dead Witch Walking" and at the moment ends 10 books later with "Ever After."
