Well friends, I’ve received some flack recently over the dearly departed Doc Artz … or Arzt … or whatever. It seems that I have spelled his name incorrectly, and this is really bothering one reader in particular.
In my defense, I took the spelling directly from the In Memoriam video – created by LOST – and shown to throngs of fans at Comic-Con 2009:

There are a number of online sources which do spell it A-R-Z-T, however, so in the interest of making everyone happy, all future references to this character will use that spelling.
This got me thinking, though, and I started looking at other LOST character names. Which of the following are correct?
Boone Carlyle? Or Boone Carlisle?
Ana Lucia Cortez? Or Ana-Lucia Cortez?
Rose Henderson, Rose Nadler, or Rose Henderson Nadler?
Penny Widmore? Or Penny Hume?
What do you think … and perhaps more importantly, what do you have to back it up? (screen shots or hyperlinks wherever possible, please, not just retyped text you found on an old press release). We must keep our references straight if we hope to indoctrinate friends into the LOST religion during this final season. :>
