As Compicpalooza 2014 enters its final day, we recap the video game tournaments that took place over the past two days. Tournaments were held for Injustice Gods Among Us, Super Street Fighter 4 AE 2012, and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. With 19 players, SF4 saw Display Lag dominate the proceedings with Adeel "FourWude" Soomro and Hamad Akbar taking 1st and 3rd. Marcus "Nytemare Raven" Ramirez took 2nd. For Injustice, 26 players were in attendance, but Kombat Houston stole the show taking top 3, Mattix in 1st, Showtime in 2nd, and Royale in 3rd. Finally, UMvC3 had the largest turnout of 27 players, with the winner being Jan Del Rio from Houston, GOX taking 2nd, and Stone Nguyen taking 3rd.

On Sunday, the event concluded with a $500 winner take all team tournament for Super Street Fighter 4 Arcade Edition 2012. Since the new revision, Ultra Street Fighter 4, is set to be available for download next week, this was pretty much the final big tournament for AE 2012 to be held in Houston. At the end of the day, it was Team Display Lag, Adeel, Hamad, and Jan taking home the cash. Team Insomnia, consisting of Insomnia owner Chris Unclebach, Aldo and Kris "134" Hoffman took second place.
