
Prince William County Satisfaction Survey Results
Every year, Prince William County conducts a random survey on how residents of the County feel about the services they provide and overall satisfaction.
In a press release dated September 22nd from the County, results of the survey show an overall high satisfaction rate and an improvement from the previous year. The University of Virginia conducts the survey and was done by randomly calling 1,746 residents from May 11th to June 24th with a broad range of questions.
Highlights of the results show a 90.6% overall satisfaction rating of County Services. On a scale from 1-10 the average rating of quality of life rose to 7.3 which the County says is the highest rating in four years.
General satisfaction on land use and developed took a jump to 66.5% up from last year's 56.4%. How residents felt they were getting the bang for their bucks in relation to taxes paid and services rendered also rose to 80.8%, up from 74.8% in 2008. Positive feedback on the County growth rate was also quite impressive at 70,5%, up from 56.1% last year -- "the highest its ever been", as stated in the County's press release.
