Saturday, February 14, 2009, from 7 pm to 11 pm, you're invited to Robert Mondavi's Winery Winemaker Dinner, Angus Barn Lakeside Pavilion, Raleigh, NC. The social begins at 7 pm and dinner is served at 8 pm. For $85 per person, plus tax and gratuity, you get to taste 2007 Robert Mondavi Winery Fumè Blanc, Napa; Angus Barn cheeses, crackers and relishes, crab fritters; and slow roasted baby red potatoes with homemade crème fraiche and osetra caviar. You also get sweet potato soup with country ham, chives and sour cream; 2007 Robert Mondavi Winery Chardonnay, Napa; Champagne Persimmon Sorbet; Roasted Sliced Tenderloin with baby lobster tail, potato gratin and Italian vegetable blend. You receive a four-course dinner in the Grille Restaurant, followed by the comedy show. The second package is $65 per couple (includes show tickets) plus a $16 convenience fee, which covers taxes and gratuity.
