Restaurant week is back in New York City Jan. 14 - Feb. 8

It's about that time fellow New Yorkers and surrounding communities to hit those restaurants you've been meaning to get to. Let's face it, anyone who frequents the big city has a big list of resturants they want to visit.

Restaurant week in New York, which began as a promotional event back in the '90s, is a bi-annual event to introduce new customers to restaurants at a discounted price. This allows guests to fully check out a restaurant on their laundry list as multiple courses are included. At participating restaurant from Jan. 14 - Feb. 8 lunch is $25 and dinner is $38.

This winter, New York food-obsessed individuals have the opportunity to try upscale restaurants including Daniel Boulud's Bar Boulud for the French lovers, A Voce for Chef Missy Robbins' Italian favorites or Indochine if you're looking for something a little less ordinary.

For a late-night, sexy dinner and drinks Hakkasan and The Darby are offering their best dishes to satisfy your inner partier. Just be careful; drinks are not included.

If you can't make this winter's restaurant week, don't worry, most of these restaurants will return for the spring version this June or July.
