Restaurant servers and bartenders love the big games

The NFC and AFC Championship games have been played. People enjoyed watching the Denver Broncos compete against the New England Patriots and the San Francisco 49rs play the Seattle Seahawks.

Those who worked in sports bars enjoyed the games because they created a fun party atmosphere at their places of employment and in some instances generated more tips.

"I love the big games because people come out, have fun, spend money and leave bigger tips. I look forward to the Super Bowl," said Karina Simmons a restaurant server at a sports oriented restaurant.

"Important sports events and big football games always mean more fans. And that means more money for us," said Brent Holmes, a bartender.
