Rest in peace, Jackson

Midwest Boston Terrier Rescue has lost a wonderful senior foster named Jackson. Jackson was lovingly helped over the bridge last evening by his foster mom, Eileen.

MWBTR took in Jackson, also known as, Happy Jack, from an owner who could no longer care for him. He was a quirky little dog who just wanted to be left alone, but he did like to be cuddled at times. He lived in several different foster homes while with the rescue, due to different circumstances, but everyone who encountered Jackson just loved him. His last foster home indulged him and made his last years extra special. He loved to jump into laundry baskets and sleep on the clothing and he had a special banana box with a bed in it that he loved.

Jackson suffered from many health issues including eye problems and kidney failure, but his foster mom gave him sub-q fluids every other day and made him more than comfortable. He loved to go for rides and he loved sitting with his foster dad.

You will be missed, Jackson.

** Jackson is pictured here, laying on top of his buddy, Benny.
