Normally people do not expect responsibility from an energy provider. But, with Bounce Energy, that is what you get. This company provides electricity service to Texas and Pennsylvania and is “More Than Energy”, just like the website says. The company does a lot “more” than just providing energy, because it shows great corporate and environmental responsibility as well. However, with this outstanding electricity service “Be smart[,] rewarded[, and] satisfied”.
The quote “More Than Energy” appears on the website right above a section that talks about the low rates, rewards, and other bonus services that Bounce Energy offers. But, what makes this company “More Than Energy” in my opinion is the corporate and environmental responsibility it shows. Bounce Energy is a very responsible corporate citizen and financially supports numerous charities. For a listing and description of all these charities, click here. Many of these charities are given a certain amount, plus a bonus for however many new customers “like” the company on Facebook or begin following the company on Twitter during the month that said charity is being supported. This month Big Brothers, Big Sisters is the charity of choice. This corporate responsibility also includes responsibility to the community and various local entities as well. As Bounce Energy says “Whether we're planting trees with RedBuds & Trees for Houston, donating food items to the Food Bank, giving food and water items to the Red Cross to aid Haiti earthquake victims or cleaning up the Gulf Oil Spill by donating to the World Wildlife Federation, Bounce Energy is proud to be part of the local community and numerous charitable campaigns and events.”
By environmentally responsible I mostly mean to refer to Project: Greenify, Bounce Energy‘s environmental campaign that supports the use of environmentally friendly products, like LED light bulbs—“or light-emitting diode [bulbs, which] last much longer and use far less electricity”—programmable thermostats, and much more. Even though the company provides “More Than Energy”, it advises consumers to “Be Smart” and choose an energy company that offers “Low rates and [the] best social media and technology”. It also advises “be rewarded with [a company that offers] your choice of rewards programs” e.g. gift cards, credits that may be applied to your energy bill, and so forth. By using your energy company you should also “be satisfied” and Bounce Energy is “Rated ‘among the best’ by JD Power & associates”. Bounce Energy offers all these things, at least according to the company’s Facebook page.
Bounce Energy is so much “More Than (just) Energy”, the company offers responsibility—both corporate and environmental responsibility—along with so much more, like “convenience”. However, its energy offerings are outstanding. With Bounce Energy you can “Be smart[,] rewarded[, and] satisfied”.
