“Life is one big road with lots of signs. So when you're riding through the ruts, don't complicate your mind. Flee from hate, mischief and jealousy. Don't bury your thoughts, put your vision to reality. Wake Up and Live!” Bob Marley

“We are shaped by our thoughts; we become what we think. When the mind is pure, joy follows like a shadow that never leaves.” Buddha

“A birthday is just another day where you go to work and people give you love. Age is just a state of mind, and you are as old as you think you are. You have to count your blessings and be happy.” Abhishek Bachchan

The mind is a wonderful thing…so powerful. There is so much truth in the saying, “it’s all in your mind.” Our frame of mind definitely has a lot to do with determining which direction our life takes; which, can be consistent or constantly changing.

It’s all in your mind. Some have paranoid thoughts, thoughts of self-loathing, low self-esteem, etc. Yes, these are only thoughts. Yet they manifest themselves into feelings, and are very real to those who have them. A negative mind set can eventually effect our physical health as well.

Let’s look at an example of how powerful the mind can be in healing. Some people believe in drinking color charged water for relieving certain ailments; such as, heartburn, upset stomach, headaches, even depression. They truly believe this works and they have their critics saying that it’s all in their mind. Well, if it makes them feel better, hooray for the powers of the mind!

Getting yourself into the right frame of mind can be tremendously healing. Obviously for your mind, but also body and spirit. If you are ‘the glass is half empty’ type of person, it may be a little more difficult, and take more time. You need to focus on the positive. You need to pay attention to your inner child. You need to love yourself for who you are. Okay, maybe you might need, or want, to change some things to make yourself more lovable…for you!

Start the healing now. A great quote, “It’s later than you think, enjoy yourself.” A healthy mind leads to an overall healthy you. When you’re healthy in mind, body, and spirit, things just seem to fall into place in your life. Life is meant to be enjoyed, so take care of you.

Please enjoy the video. This is an excellent example of channeling your mind power in a positive direction. This three-year-old St. Jude Warrior, Matthew, channels his inner superhero. He goes into battle each day, wearing his cape, in the fight against leukemia. Matthew's family focuses on the positive and shares a strength and positive mind set. This is truly an inspiring story.
