Resource Connection for Developmentally Disabled March 16 in Franklin

The Williamson County Parks and Recreation Department in Franklin will host the annual Resource Connection information fair Tuesday, March 16, from 4-7 p.m. This event provides an opportunity for the developmentally disabled, their families and caregivers to learn about the many different  post-high school options.

The event is sponsored by Ventures, a group of educators and agency representatives working together to ease the transition of Williamson County residents in need of some type of support after age 23.

Exhibitors at this year's event include: Arc of Williamson County, Arc of TN, Best Buddies, Brightstone, Center for Living and Learning, Corporate Connections, Evergreen Ministries, Franklin Transit, Franklin High Jobs, Goodwill, Meals on Wheels, Mid Cumberland, Next Step, Project Opportunity, Technology Access Center, TENNder Care, TN Division of Intellectual Disabilities, Kennedy Center, Center for Understanding, WAVES, WorkForce Essentials, Vocational Rehabilitation, TRC and Franklin Housing Authority.
