Resource allows parents and self-advocates to track autism legislation by state

The National Conference of State Legislatures has launched an autism legislation database. Parents and self-advocates can view pending legislation by state, sponsor, key word and bill number. Legislative information is printed in simple, easy to read language. Topics include: autism awareness, research, funding, education, employment, insurance, diagnosis and treatments.

The site also offers links for state autism boards and committees, as well as an overview of legislative issues most commonly afftecting individuals with autism spectrum disorders and their families.
