Christian Dior Resort 2013 showing pays homage to classic silhouettes and classic colors. Black and white was a staple throughout the collection as were clean lines and cuts. The theme seemingly conveyed selected elegance with peplum tops, flared skirts, high waisted trousers, and knit dresses echoing throughout.
Although black and white was the preferred color of choice additionally there were hints of bold colors sprinkled throughout the collection. Color grazed printed dresses such as the standout orange printed cotton and silk dress, and the fuchsia silk and wool crepe dress. Subtle hints of floral also appeared throughout the collection including an eye catching printed cotton and silk shirt dress with white silk gazar details.
All of the ensembles were furnished with tall and crafty yet breathable suede wedges. Color block clutches, daisy necklaces, skinny belts, mini leather totes and classy newsboy hats capped off the accessories for the collection.
Standouts among the collection include; a bright red tulle ballerina skirt with matching bright red silk crepe marocain jacket, a silk chiffon dress with all-over gold sequin, and a rosewood soft labskin coat.
