RESOLUTION 15
by Helen M. Orcutt

Starting the weekend off with an amazing interview with Earl Maneein is my way to fly! He explained to me the origin of their name being from the 1959 Resolution passed with the North Vietamese. This embarked on a the US involvement in and evolvement from the Vietnam War. The awareness into mankind and how each individual can help with change is deeply rooted in the music Resolution 15 produces today.

Although the Violin is not a standard instrument for Thrash Metal, it works and it also makes people take notice that the sound, although good, is different. Earl was very nonchalant when he said, “We would like you to be drawn in and ask what it is. We aren’t trying to sound like a guitar, we are just functioning within Metal.”

We discussed “The Life Of A Rockstar” and Earl made me laugh at his statement, “It’s all smoke and mirrors! We want to get into people’s ears. We are NOT A NEGATIVE BAND!” The idea of getting people to take a look around them and be a part of the solution and not the problem is more than many people even care about, let alone making statements through their music. Resolution 15 uses music as a platform to get their music across.

The band members are:
Earl Maneein ~ 7-string electric violin
Nick Serr ~ Vocals
Kenny Grohowski~ Drums
Mike Bendykowski ~ Bass

With their consolidation of their music and the fine tuning of the sound, at the cost of thousands of dollars and many mistakes along the way, the distinct sound is all their own. Not many make a statement through their music, that is not the case here. “Stand up and take notice of your surroundings” as best said by Earl Meneein. Through trial and error, they have today what is now known as Resolution 15.

Resolution 15 is very proud to be a band that Adrenaline PR handles the publicity for. Maria Ferrero, Rikki Zazula, Arielle Rosseli, and Natalie Camillio, these men could not say enough good things about you ladies and the work they do for them! With great respect there is also gratitude.
