'Resident Evil: Revelations' getting a home console port in May

Resident Evil: Revelations”, which has been a 3DS exclusive, is now going to be getting a home console port. Capcom announced that they will releasing ports for “Revelations” to PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and WiiU on May 21 for North America and May 24 for Europe. This was reported by Gamespot writer Eddie Makuch on Jan. 22.

The current retail price for the ports are $50. Digital versions of the game for PS3 and PC will be available on launch day; digital versions for Xbox 360 and WiiU will follow soon after.

New features in the port include “enhanced” high-definition graphics and lighting effects, a new Raid mode playable character (known as the Hunk), a new enemy, and a harder difficulty setting. “In addition, new Raid weapons and custom parts will be available in the console and PC versions of Resident Evil: Revelations,” Makuch writes.

It isn’t a complete surprise that the game is getting a big-console port. A leaked achievement listing recently hinted that the game would be coming the Xbox 360 (where achievements are awarded for completing tasks in games).
