Does this look like Toronto?
Check out this teaser trailer for Resident Evil: Retribution. Due in theatres on September 14, 2012, the latest installment in the Resident Evil franchise was shot at Cinespace Studios in Toronto. To be specific, much of the filming took place on sets built at the Cinespace facility on Kipling Avenue south of Bloor Street (the former Consumers Glass complex for anyone who knows the area). You won’t recognize much, not unless you frequent the neighbourhood and recall the make-believe streetscape assembled some weeks ago.
Enjoy the teaser. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice to continue the battle against the Umbrella Corporation and the undead. (Don’t be fooled by the opening. It really is the trailer and not an advertisement.)
