The Highlands Ranch Mansion, a 120-year-old building located in central Highlands Ranch, is the namesake of the 30-year-old community. It will soon be open to the public for community and private events, conferences, tours and educational programs. Currently under renovation by the Highlands Ranch Metro District, the historic building will open in June 2012. The Mansion will be a focal point in the community where residents can gather, celebrate and experience the lifestyle of years gone by.
The Highlands Ranch Metro District will initially use a lottery system that will give Highlands Ranch residents the first opportunity to book private events at the Mansion. Lottery applications will be accepted Wednesday, September 14 through Friday, September 30, and the drawing will be held Monday, October 3, 2011 for reservations through January 2013.
