Thomas Cole and the story of Cagney and Lacy were featured in an article written December 8.
Thomas tracked and searched for these two dogs long after everyone else had given up. He not only found one dog, but both. One of the dogs had been wearing a muzzle the entire five weeks she’d been missing in the bitter Minnesota cold.
Braveheart Rescue is the group who originally rescued Cagney and Lacy when they disappeared. They are allegedly behind the current legal criminal filings against Thomas Cole. Cagney was taken at "gunpoint" and allegedly confined at the local animal shelter until Cole’s February 1st court case.
The Braveheart Rescue Facebook page reports that both dogs are “fine” but no mention of Cagney being taken to Animal Humane Society in Coon Rapids, Minnesota, the local animal control facility.

Thomas Cole’s Facebook Page carries the accounts of his successful search and rescue of Cagney and Lacy:

Concerned followers are worried about the welfare of these two dogs. A group has been formed to follow the status of Cagney and Lacy as well as network on Thomas Cole’s behalf. The group is named ‘Save Strong Heart’ in honor of the proud name he’d given Cagney, the dog suspected to now be impounded at Animal Humane Society in Coon Rapids.

The video shows Tom’s work only just begun to rehab this fearful dog he’d worked so hard to find and rescue. To consider this dog in a county pound is a ghastly thought.
Please consider joining Save Strong Heart and helping this group bring fair justice to Cagney and Lacy and to Thomas Cole, the rescuer who believed in them.
