Volunteers from the Illinois Doberman Rescue are hoping the public can help find "Madison" who slipped out of her harness Friday afternoon near the Midway Airport in Chicago at 53rd St. and Central Ave. reported the ChicagoTribune.com.
A $1,000 reward is being offered for the Doberman's safe return.
Larissa Gavin tells the story of the Doberman she rescued in Houston on January 5 when Madison and her three puppies were saved during the extremely cold weather.
The puppies have been placed with a Colorado rescue.
Madison was headed to the Illinois Doberman Rescue where she would then be driven to a Wisconsin rescue for medical help and a potential new home.
Larissa describes Madison as scared and nervous, and asked anyone who sees her to call Illinois Doberman Rescue at 847-277-1082. She may still be wearing a beaded necklace.

Her rescuers are hoping for a miracle. Madison has not been seen since 2:00 Friday afternoon. Please keep your eyes open.
