People who are engaged in flower decorations, running a floral shop or offering flower arrangements are quite busy during this particular season.
Our school is often approached by a local florist requesting us to send experienced students who can make flower arrangements for their customers. The working condition is a part timer to help make floral decorations they sell.
This kind of request from a floral shop is given to us from time to time and especially during a busy season they would like us to select a reasonable student who can work at such florist as a floral designer or helper to make flower arrangements.
No matter what kind of business they are engaged in, if they hire too many official employees, it may be a heavy financial burden especially when business is not so active. Therefore their request can be easily understood by us. And we would like to help them to the extent the situation surrounding us allows.
Students who are enthusiastic to have experiences as a floral designer or assistant designer would like to work for such florist even without any wage/salary although floral shops often offer reasonable hourly rate of compensation to our students. If students are seriously looking for opportunities of working as a floral designer at a florist after they complete learning floral designs at our school, it is a very good opportunity for them to have experience of working at a floral shop.
At our school they learn not only how to make floral arrangements but also how to handle fresh flowers in order to prolong the life of flowers. Since fresh flowers are perishable it is important to pay special attention and there are several “rules” which help keep cut flowers fresh such as how to cut stems and how to keep them in the bucket etc. etc.
Above mentioned floral shop looking for a student as a floral designer or helper naturally expects our students have reasonable knowledge about making floral arrangements as well as the secret of handling fresh flowers at a shop. And we are pretty sure that we can send students who can satisfy their requirements.
California Flower Art Academy has been teaching floral designs and also how to handle fresh flowers in the San Francisco Bay Area (Burlingame, San Mateo County) and Silicon Valley (San Jose) since 1990 as a floral school certified by Flower Decorators Association (Tokyo Japan). By joining our school students can select their favorite COURSE from a WIDE RANGE OF PROGRAMS we offer.
If you are serious to earn practical skills of floral arrangements, we can help. No matter what kind of floral designs you want to learn, European arrangement or Japanese Ikebana, wedding or funeral decorations, beginner or professional level, you can find the program which satisfies your needs. You can start from Introductory Trial Budget Program for only $69. For more information, feel free to contact firstname.lastname@example.org
