Republican crowd cheers waterboarding and torture (VIDEO Included)

When thinking of good moral things to do, cheering for people with no insurance to die and the death penalty don't end up on the top of many peoples list. Booing a solider just because he's gay shouldn't make the list either. However, at recent Republican debates all of these things got the conservative crowd out of their chairs and into a frenzy. After Saturday night's CBS debate, we can now add torture to that list. At the debate Saturday night, Herman Cain as well as Michele Bachmann both voiced their opinion that they not only support the  use of waterboarding, but would also use if elected.

Herman Cain: “I don’t see it as torture. I see it as an enhanced interrogation technique"

Michele Bachmann: “If I were president, I would be willing to use waterboarding...It was very effective"
Waterboarding is a very serious issue, and though some conservative take a liking to it, not all of them do. We have heard from people on both sides of the aisle push back at the thought of waterboarding and even Jon Huntsman and Ron Paul said they were against it. Many would say that in the heat of the battle of war that anything goes, but that is not that case. There are rules, written and unwritten, and torture is a rule that shouldn't be broken. Though many conservatives hold it up high as a tool for getting information, many others dispute that waterboarding is effective at all. Waterboarding and cheering for torture, just another mindless reason to for Republican crowds to go crazy.
